Today, as global challenges intensify, we are again called to come together, to consciously participate in the birth of a new, nurturing, and luminous reality. Join me in this sacred effort.

The Śrī Sūkta originates in the Rig Veda, one of the oldest yogic texts, and has traditionally been chanted during times of great change to invoke harmony, prosperity, and auspiciousness within the collective.

  • Chant the 9th mantra of the Śrī Sūkta, dedicating your practice to this global group sādhana. You may choose to chant the mantra 11, 27, 54, or 108 times per day. Recordings of both 11 rounds and 108 rounds will be available within the practice portal.

  • Deepen your study of Tantra, Mantra, and the Śrī Sūkta. Throughout this period, I will share short philosophical audio reflections - little missives from the heart - offering insights, experiences, and contemplation prompts from my time of personal practice and study in India.

About the Sri Sukta

The Śrī Sūkta verses are considered Khila Sūktas. Khila means “the open space that gives room to the newly emerging reality.” In essence, this cluster of mantras calls upon the Divine Mother as the ever-present intelligence of life, the subtle consciousness that permeates all existence. The invocation is for Her to fill our hearts, homes, and communities with love, nurturance, and auspiciousness, so together we can welcome a new era of consciousness.

When we gather to chant these mantras, we build a powerful field of intention, a shared resonance that opens us to new possibilities. In ancient times, such practices were undertaken to stabilize and uplift collective consciousness during periods of chaos and transformation. Yogis came together with prayer, mantra, and devotion as part of a coordinated sacred effort to restore harmony and clarity.
